Interactive tutorials

Slides from an interactive tutorial
An interactive presentation or tutorial which can be added to your Moodle unit for students to complete it in their own time. Adobe Captivate is the software used to author the presentation.

This example, called ‘On My Own‘ was developed for the School of Law at the University of New England. A number of relevant academic skills have been embedded, particularly focused on the needs of students from a non English-speaking background (NESB). As you can imagine, this type of interactive could be applied to the teaching of a wide range of disciplines. Slides are interactive, include simple animations and transitions and music (which can be switched off). Another feature that could be useful is a table of contents which enables learners to skip to a section of relevance or needed for review.
